The connecting port of my drive got damaged and my laptop won’t see the drive. Can I replace the housing or buy a different housing that will allow me to use the drive without the Seagate backup plus housing? Thanks!!

You could potentially just “Schuck” the drive. Meaning pull out the HDD and throw it into a external HDD case.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, it's much appreciated! I got as far as taking the drive out the case but I am having a difficult time figuring out what kind of case is compatible. Out of my depth slightly :)
