Hello, I recently performed a trackpad replacement, due to water damage. Prior to the replacement my keyboard and everything else had been functioning on my laptop, but after the trackpad replacement, neither the keyboard nor trackpad are working. I tried checking all of my connections and can’t seem to find the problem. I hope to at least get the keyboard back to normal. Any advice is appreciated!

I believe so. I had bought the flex cable and trackpad and connected them together as well as connected the flex cable to it's two other points.
I don't know what the connection beneath the logic board is to exactly. Does that have something to do with the keyboard?

The trackpad and keyboard share the same cable. One connection on the logic board and then it splits to two paths one to the keyboard and the second to the trackpad. Make sure all three cable connections are secure.

Thank you! This guide is great. Unfortunately, it still isn't working. Maybe the flex cable isn't working or I damaged a port or something :/ I'm ordering another flex cable in hopes that that will work.
