Here’s the guide which you’ll need to follow to install it iMac Intel 21.5インチ Retina 4K Display 2019 RAMの交換 its a bit of work! Make sure you follow the guide and use the correct tools as you can damage your system very easily if you don’t.
Maxing out to 32GB may not be the best direction. I would go with 16GB on an i3 system as your systems performance won’t be much better with 32GB.
I would look at upgrading the storage if your system has a PCIe/NVMe blade drive slot I would boost it to 500GB at least.
If you only have a SATA drive’d system I would replace the slow 2.5” HDD to a much faster SSD! iMac Intel 21.5インチ Retina 4K Display 2019 ハードドライブの交換

I am planning to upgrade the storage. I have a SATA HDD und I will replace it with a Samsung 870 QVO 1TB SATA 2,5 Zoll Internes Solid State Drive (SSD) (MZ-77Q1T0BW).
I just wanted to upgrade the RAM as well, in order to be able to edit videos (Final Cut) and music (Logic).
Would any 260-pin PC4-19200 RAM work? Could also a PC4-21300 be ok?
e.g. Crucial CT2K8G4SFS8266 16GB (8GB x2) Memory Kit (DDR4, 2666MT / s, PC4-21300, Single Rank x8, SODIMM, 260-Pin)?
Thank you!
@Petros Kampourakis - I would stick with the PC4-19200 SO-DIMM's. There is no benefit going with the faster SO-DIMM's as your CPU can't leverage it.
Any PC4-19200 will work, the construction doesn't really matter.
