i need the Power Pads on this Macbook A1706.

The newer MacBook Pro’s don’t offer power pads as the TouchID power button needs to be accessed via its secure enclave key and the dialog to the logic board’s T2 chip. You just can’t get around the ultra high security solution Apple has in these systems.
You'‘ll need to replace the logic board and the TouchID power button.
