The connection by ethernet does not work but by wifi it works well.

Hello everyone, I recently had a problem with my computer (it is worth noting that yesterday it worked well)

The case is that when I'm connected via ethernet I don't have internet when I open the browser or any application, even if I indicate that if in the notification bar, the same if I connect via wifi and still connected the cable, however once I disconnect the cable, the wifi works fine.

I thought that maybe the pc or the router input was damaged, but I already checked it and both work well.

I don't know what happened, but I tried everything.

-Update drivers.

-Command cmd.

-Firewall configuration or options in the network.

-I got to the point of reinstalling the operating system and nothing.

Some time ago I had a similar problem but with wifi on a laptop, and I remember I used a rescue operating system that I put on a USB and fixed it, but I don't remember the name anymore because the tutorial was in English (my native language is Spanish), I don't know if someone can give me more recommendations or help me to find out the name of that rescue operating system.

What is the make and model number of the desktop or the motherboard if a custom build?

What is the status of the LAN network adapter as shown in Device Manager?

Have you tried booting into safe mode with networking to see if it works OK?

Yes, it is a custom computer, since it is a bit old and I have changed components, the motherboard would be: ASRock AM1B-M M80-51003701738

As for the status of the adapter, I wouldn't know how to find out.

And yes, I have already tried the connection in secure mode and also only works the wifi, the ethernet not yet.

I just tried different (new) ethernet connectors with my laptop and it doesn't work either, only the wifi, so I think it's the modem configuration, although I never touched anything there, maybe an upgrade or something, I wouldn't know the reason.

I don't think so, I literally tried out new ethernet cables on my pc and my laptop, and I couldn't navigate through any of them, just wifi.

If you have a laptop with an ethernet port have you tried plugging that same network cable to that laptop to see if it works to rule out a bad ethernet cable?

Is there any network status LEDs blinking where the ethernet cable is plugged in on either the computer side or router side?

Yes, I have a laptop with ethernet connection, and not only did I try the wire I normally use to connect my pc, but I tried a couple more wires that are new and didn't work either, anyway only the wifi worked on my laptop.

That's right, both the router and the computer give signal and blink, I also tried the ping in a page (Google) and gives an answer, no data loss, but I can not navigate.

so I think it's the router configuration, although I never touched anything there, maybe an upgrade or something, I wouldn't know the reason.
