Bug stuck under the glass of the screen

I noticed about 2 hours ago a bug moving on the screen, I went to just wipe it off but turns out that was actually under the glass. Im pretty sure its between two layers of the screen components as it goes behind certain UI elements but when on white its very clearly a black bug. An hour later I think I may have pressed to hard while ‘inspecting’ it and its not moving at all.

I’m not sure what to do as I was actually planning to make an appointment at apple since they’re allowing them now for my keyboard as 6 keys have now come of / fall off constantly. Should I just continue with that repair and bring it up at the appointment? Will they repair it for free as im not sure how it got in and I think it may be able to pass as a dead pixel? Does anyone have some insight on this?

If it is obvious, they might think of it as dead pixel, however they seem to have a count for dead pixel repair eligibility, try your luck first.

Also they have the power to waive repair fee for limited times if they feel justified, for example they pity you if you have an extraordinary story, or just find you charming.

I mean the fact that the keyboard needs repairing and now the screen- do you think they'd bother trying to fix it all or if they do somewhat pity me etc; maybe just give me a replacement model?

Im definitely going in for the keyboard repair regardless but its kinda hard to not notice when showing so im not sure what to say to them.

Euan - I would focus on the keyboard repair, forget about the display issue for now. When you pick up the system see if its still there ;-} If it is point it out then.

@danj oh so its like- suggesting it happened while in repair so the fault would be on them meaning a chance of repair for the screen etc

So I took my MacBook in for repair for my keyboard 8 days ago and did what you said to wait until I get that repair back, but when it came back they had already given me a new screen too as well as new top case, they listed it as dead pixel on the sheet so thanks for that advice :)
