Replaced, ram, hard drive and pram battery, now screen will not turnon
IMac turns on, get the charm sound but screen does not turn on, had a look at the motherboard all 4 leds are on. Also did a pram reset. Any ideas please.

That focus us to the backlight logic on your logic board or the displays power cable and connection.
Review Step 19 here iMac Intel 21.5インチ EMC 2544 ディスプレイの交換 to check the cables connection. If that is good and the cable is as well thant points to the logic board, review Step 23 in iMac Intel 21.5" EMC 2544 Teardown the Green Intersil ISL6364 multi-phase pulse width modulation (PWM) controller chip and its support logic. That will take some deeper skills and tools to fix or you’ll need a new logic board.

Does an external monitor work?
Use a bright flashlight resting on the display at a sharp angle do you see a faint image of your desktop and its Icons?

Hi Dan, yes with a flashlight, I can see the screen.
