won't run on battery

When it's plugged in it works just fine but if it gets unplugged it automatically shuts off and even when it's plugged in it will never show battery charging or get over like 6% battery life Do I just need new batteries or where should I start

Looks like the battery is bad and needs to be replaced.

But it won’t be easy..
