I have a 1999 mazda 626 with a 2.0 L engine and the driver’s side window doesn’t work. How can I check to see if the switch is bad or maybe the motor?

Don’t know if the following will be a help or not but here’s the 04/97 Mazda 626 Workshop Manual (I couldn’t find the manual for the ‘99 model).
Scroll down and click on Body. When it opens on the webpage, scroll to p.S- 9 to view the procedure to test the power windows circuits etc.
It is easier to use the guide if you download the file by using the download link found at the top right of the document header bar.
Hopefully it will be of some help.
