Steam machine won't heat up.

When I turn on the unit, the light goes on but I don’t get any steam. I thought I put to much water in it. So I emptied unit started over, and still no steam. Is it possible the heating unit burnt out and is it something I can replace?

Hi,

Do both the Power On/Off light and the Steam Ready light come on when you switch the cleaner on? Not quite sure if this is what you meant when you said”… the light goes on….”

If the Steam Ready light doesn’t come on it may be a heater problem or perhaps a thermostat problem

If they both do come on try clearing the machine of any buildup of mineral deposits to see if this resolves the problem

For future ref: there's a thermoresistor thats placed on the side. If that goes out, u can try & find a replacement or at ur own risk leave it out. Caution, if u don't know about thermo resistors than u r not experienced enough to do this procedure. I took out all cut-out power items with the lines running direct to heating elements. This is not adviseable only to responsible enough not to leave machine unattended while plugged in use. But the machine still works. You got to be aware of the machine blowing the hose if your not aware the signs this machine works. And plugging & unplugging after every blast.
