Diagnosing Failing Airport Card Cable
I replaced my airport card cable about 2 years ago. Very recently the connection of my MBP to the wi-fi network in my home has started to present with the same issues that would suggest that the airport card cable needs replacing once again - intermittent connection drops, general lag in browsing. I have ruled out this being my router, modem or ISP, as other devices are not encountering this issue. Thing is, I took apart my macbook and the cable looks fine - no crimps or fraying that I can see.
Are there any more subtle indicators (other than obvious crimps and fraying) that might tell me if the cable is the issue? Understanding that there could be other contributing factors at the hardware level (namely the airport card itself being shot).
Thanks in advance.
