I had someone drop my TI- nSpire CX calculator, and now the LCD screen is cracked, so no clear image appears. Is there a way to replace this screen or is the calculator ruined.

It looks like you might be able to repair it, but since TI doesn’t offer first party parts you’ll either have to find a for-parts Nspire CX on Ebay or find parts on sites like taobao: https://world.taobao.com/item/1957647300... (cost about $14 USD). I have not personally bought from that site before, however it was provided by TI-Planet.org, a site well experienced in all things Nspire related. Before you go out and buy one, could you please tell me your calculator’s hardware revision? It will effect which screen you need to get. If you don’t know where it is, 'it's the few letters on the back of the calcualtor, to the right of the serial number. It looks like P-1115W, for instance, meaning hardware revision W'''
Once you have a screen on hand, you can use this guide on iFixit, and this guide on TI-Planet.org to swap out the screen. Good luck!

The numbers next to the serial number are P-1214T
I apologize for the late reply, looks like you're calculator is just barely old enough for the screen swap to work! That article on TI-Planet I linked above should work for you just fine.
Hey, sorry for necroposting, but would P-0814R be compatible with the replacement display?

Mind sharing how you know whether if its compatible? Would like to know the source as I couldn't find it

Is the LCD actually cracked or is it just displaying garbage? Could you please share a picture of what it looks like?

The cover glass/plastic screen is in perfect shape. The cracks are under it somewhere; I'm guessing the LCD part.

I have also same problem, My TI-nspire CX's LCD display is broken. Is it possible to change it ? My CX model number is P-0317AB

I'm sorry ucankabak but your calculator is too new for the screen swap to work properly. I don't know if there's a way for you to fix your calculator but I can try to look into it later.

I have an older model that has a non-colored screen. Is is possible to switch out that screen?
