Unknown disc when playing dvd movies
My Playstation 4 slim console reads ps4 games just fine. But when I put in a dvd movie it says unknown disc.
I have tried different movies but same problem with all dvd disc

kenneth.christensen since it plays your games but cannot read your DVD’s it’ll be related to the laser. You could try a commercially available laser lens cleaner. Of course you must also consider replacing either the drive or the laser assembly PlayStation 4 Slimの光学ディスクドライブの交換
You would need the exact number of the laser lens assembly that your drive is using to find the correct replacement. You are looking for something like this
