mac mini late 2012 i7 NO VIDEO
my mac mini turns on regularly - you hear the classic apple sound - but the video remains completely black. What can I do ?

This series uses the Intel intergraded graphics engine (HD Graphics 4000) which is part of the Ivy Bridge CPU.
Sadly, the only solution here that makes sense is to replace the logic board:
- Mac Mini Logic Board i5 2.5GHz - Apple P/N 661-7017
- Mac Mini Logic Board i7 2.3GHz - Apple P/N 661-7018
- Mac Mini Logic Board i7 2.6GHz - Apple P/N 661-7019

If you have a second Mac you could see if the system can be accessed remotely over your network and lastly if you need to gain access to the files you could try connecting your second Mac to your Mini so you can use Understanding the Applications for Target Disk Mode
