My new washer LG WM3700 drains fine but during the spin cycle I hear a laboring sound coming from behind the drain pump filter door. It sounds like something is struggling to go round and round. Then it stops. I checked the filter and there was nothing in it except some soap bubbles. Is something wrong or is this normal?
I recorded the noise.

since you already checked the coin trap and found nothing that may cause this, the only thing to do is sit back and wait. It is possible that this is normal for your washer. If it is not then something is bound to fail eventually. Errors like this are extremely hard to diagnose and usually end up being costly due to replacing to many unnecessary parts.
