Camera error; says turn camera on and off
After shooting, got message saying CAMERA ERROR; turn on and off.
What causes this & how do I avoid it

This probably means your shutter is not closing as fast as it should. Look for images on the SD card that might be taken even though the camera reports the error.
My images where overexposed indicating a too slow shutter actuation. This might lead to figuring out your issue.
Also check if video function works fine. This further solidifies shutter issues.
