Did not get firmware update alert on jbl charge 3

I have a jbl charge 3 which i want to update to the software update which supports connect+ And wanted to pair up with my flip 4

but surprisingly i did not get the firmware update alert when i connected the charge 3 via bluetooth and opened the jbl connect app…

any help with be appreciated
