Hi,
I have one with short-short-long blink issue (display 1)and one with blank display (display 2)but the led is not blinking (continuously on).
how would you move on to make them into one working 30-inch Cinema Display?
display 1 shows an image when doing the flashlight trick against the screen.
display 2 doesn’t

The display is detecting a backlight error. Check your display's power connections and restart the computer. If the problem continues, contact Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
Well Apple is not going to help you.
Lets go for the cheapest repair first, with it on, hold a flashlight at an angle to the screen and see if you can discern the desktop. If you can, replace the inverter.

UPDATE
The serial number with bar codes is located on a label under the foot of the display. To view the serial number, hold the sides of the display and gently lay the display face down on a soft, clean towel or cloth.

do you know a way to test if the inverter board of display 2 could be good?
do you know where to find the service manual for the A1083?
how to know which version the 30-inch is? I guess they have different inverter boards. is it possible with the serial number? saw they can have 2 or 4 pins depending on the version but not totally sure
fixed! short-short-long led was broken inverter board so took it from a display with continuous led(no blinking but black screen)

What are the Axxx numbers from the bottom of the stands? It may look like A1407.

solved : I took the inverter board form the display with continuous led (no blinking led) and put it in the display with short-short-long and works perfectly now
