I accidentally dropped my phone on my chromebook and the screen went all weird, as in line going vertically and horizontally while the rest of the page was still appearing. So I turned off the chromebook to see if turning it off and on again would work, but it hasn't turned on yet and it's been a couple hours. Please help.

@cyrushart5 this sounds like you may have damaged the power button . there are cables connected to the keyboard in this area that connect to the motherboard .Open the laptopand check the wiring where the keyboard connects to the motherboard . While your in the computer disconnect the battery while your working on it . This accomplishes 2 things 1 static discharge and 2 clears memory as you cannot physically remove the memory from this as it is soldered to the board. Now while your in there check the two connectors to the keyboard show in red You may also want to check the video cable connector in the upper left hand corner of the same pic check the cable for damage and check the connector is still connected properly also follow the wire into the screen byremoving the bezel check all the wire for breaks and follow it to the back of the screen and check the connection there. Once you've reconnected everything and a satisfied everything is in order hold down the power button on the keyboard for 60 seconds . Then reconnect the battery reassemble the keyboard and bezel , then try to reboot the computer. Hope this helps

where did the phone actually hit . was it in the process of booting up ? did you shut it down hard or normally ? does anything happen when you try to turn it on . like fan noise or beeps or lights ?

The phone hit the space where the keyboard piece is connected to the screen, it was already booted up for a few hours, nothing happens when I try to turn it on, just a black screen.

I think it might be the ribbon cable that connects from the screen to the motherboard. If it is lose the screen will have lines or may not turn on at all. It's an easy fix, as all you do is slide it back in place. Unless the LCD is cracked or something else has caused the problem hopefully this helps.
