Hi my name is alyssa my friend and i were running i had my ipod touch in my pocket and forgot it was there and it flew out of my pocket and at the the screen brook glass came off and there's like 25 cracks in it it still works i was wondering how much the replacement screen is for the 4th generation let me know

It depends where you are located I just checked and it looks like its kind of costly ;-) available here here as well and and here with repair. So as you can see it all depends...You find the instructions on here iPod Touch 4th Generation Good Luck to you.

with the amount to fix it you should just buy a new one! but download your apps first onto your computer so that youll have the exact same accounts and apps! but if u really want to just fix it just go to an apple store in a mall, theyll probably fix it for a good price.

yhhh, think positive. this is ifixit, check the guides iPod Touch 4th Generation Front Panel Replacement and see if it is within your skill set. Check the prices on here http://www.google.com/products/catalog?h... and I bet you can not buy a new one for that price. there are always options. Even if you have to get it repaired, it is still way cheaper than to buy a new one.

alyssa, are you looking to fix it yourself ? Then you can use the links to order the part. The second link is a place where you can send it for repair. It all depends what you are trying to do to get you a cost estimate. This forum is only here to assist people to fix things themselves. Ifixit does also do NO repairs. They just sell the parts.
