No microphone after replacement lightning flex

Hi, I have an iPhone 7 Plus with a non working microphone. I can’t record audio from videos, Siri in irresponsive and third parties app with microphone access do not record anything. The voice memo app can’t even record. The phone can’t detect headphones and even Bluetooth headphones with built in microphone are not working.

I thought it was a microphone issue, so I replaced the lightning flex. However the problem is stil here.

How can I solve?

I did a complete wipe, but it didn't work.

Maybe is the replacement defective as well as the old one,(I bought at 5euros on ebay).

May it be an issue with other microphones? as the rear microphone or the front microphone , since i did not replaced them?

Yes the problem appeared by itself. However, connecting Bluetooth headphones works(I can dictate the text), whereas the lightning headphones are not detected. Also speakers do work.

If the problem appeared by itself then the fault is caused by the audio IC chip on the logic board going faulty.

I recommend backing up your phone ASAP because that phone is going to get stuck on apple logo soon.

This issue can be only fixed via board-level repair.

on a working iPhone I unplugged the microphones, but I still can record voice memos. Instead on the faulty I can’t even record. So i came to the conclusion that it is the audio IC faulty

I have a similar problem but mine happens only when the front-facing camera flex is installed. I've had my iPhone going for a couple of months with no front-cameras or ear speaker and now that I install them all sound and related things stop working, it doesn't even allow me to turn up or down the volume (with the exception of Bluetooth headphones or speakers in which the sound and mic related things work just fine). Any help? (Front-acing camera stills works btw).

Have you tried restoring the firmware with iTunes with the front camera assembly?

Is the phone up to date in software, if not I recommend updating the iOS.

I would also consider cleaning the grills out before installing a new assembly if that was not done.

The other possibility is that the replacement item is defective.
