My washing machine is very intermittent.

Water intake is intermittent. Comes on for a few seconds then goes off. So does the whole cycle. On and off. Get and error code of E5E. Is there anyway of doing a master reset? Or is the control board no good?

kenslack E5E indicates a "communication problem between the main control board and the speed control board." See if your model has a Blue and black wire on two pin connector at the speed control board. Measure to check if there is 120V (careful that you do not get zapped on the live wires. Could be a hair raising experience) If you don't then it is most likely the control board, if you do but it does not work it is most likely the speed control.
