Phone battery drains after spark in replacement.

Hey guys,

So a few weeks ago, I sent my phone off to a 3rd party repair shop due to error 4013. They fixed it and sent it back. However, their battery was not holding charge. I replaced the battery myself, and it went a huge success. Except one thing..

For some reason, the phone charges fine, but when in use gets hot near the bottom, and will be flat in about 1hr. During the repair, I used a metal spudger instead, and caused a spark when disconnecting the battery to the logic board.

I have tried a reset through DFU mode with no change.

Any ideas? Do you think that it could be a U2 chip failure?
