Error while trying to restore iPhone 6 Plus Error 40

I bought this phone from eBay to try to repair it. I replaced the battery , charging port and the screen. The phone turns on and all I see is a lit black screen. I plugged it into the computer and the computer recognizes it and iTunes says that the phone is in "recovery mode" and it needs to be restored and updated. I've tried to restore and update it, but every time I try to do that, the apple logo comes up and the bar and after a few minutes I get this message:

"The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred(40)."

What could be the issue? My iTunes is up to date.

It's an issue on the logic board, it's not clear yet whether replacing the nand flash memory chip and reprogramming it will fix it or not.

I have a similiar problem, I got the touch Ic chips replaced and the wireless and camera stopped working, the phone worked for a day without a hickup, then it started to flicker and freeze and when i pressed the top right of the screen and hold it down the screen would come back, the phone use to switch off and flicker the apple logo and then come back. Now its gone into recovery mode, ive used all the programs to try recover it, is there a fix to get it out of recovery mode? what part needs to be replaced? i mean ive spent so much time and effort into this phone, i deserve the thing to work for a week lol.
