some cycle buttons, normal /casual, express wash work Intermittently

The cycle buttons normal/casual, express wash and delicate operate intermittently.

Sometimes they operate as advertised on the next load the button will do nothing and I have to use another cycle. After a few cycles the button will operate the cycle again then stop operating after a few loads.
