My nephew brought me his nintendo dsi and the power socket on it go smashed somehow and it is unusable. I have bought the replacement part which is said to require soldering but can find no guide anywhere (pictures or video) on this matter. Can someone give a detailed description on exactly how to go about this. Thank you.

Okay I know i answered this on here before somewhere....:-) here are some instructions about the soldering http://surugi.com/projects/DSLiteUSB.htm... and here is the plug http://www.buy.com/prod/repair-power-con... substitute ti USB plug with the original power plug. Anyhow it gives you an idea of what is involved. Good luck and let us know what (and what does not ) work for you.
