power brush is rattling loudly when running
the power bar is making a very loud rattling noise when running. When I take the brush out of the unit, the noise stops
I have found that fibers or hair get wrapped around the one end of the brush that has the silver ball bearing roller. The wrapping gets so tight and thick the ball bearing roller starts creating a rattle because it cannot roll freely. You need to take a tweezers and razor blade to clean out the ball bearing area.

I actually had to reorder a housing unit for my brush due to it melting, what I have found is a little grease on the cover of the round end on the brush will ease the noise, the buildup of hair will cause that loud sound. Hope this helps.
What kind of grease do you use?
how to go into tst mode???
definitions..
play button >|
Home Button house
Corner button square with box in corner
sequence in service manual?
1..Turn on the main body emergency switch.
2. Press the “play” button to turn it on.
3. Hold down the “cornr” button for 3 seconds.
4. buttons are pressed in the order of Play -> Home->play->corner
4a Pictures show home->play->corner ??? WTF
5 test mode is entered
Problem 1 is ,there is no confirmation codes after the sequences are entered, ie after step 2 there is no confirmation beep or display etc
Problem 2 should th unit be on a surface or floating ,in the air
My findings. After step 2, how long or immediately should I do step 3?, no instructions in service manual
After step 2, unit goes into 5,4,3,2,1,0 and starts to vacuum, no results when I hold home for 3 seconds?
I don’t know if step 3 was successful, so I don’t know if I’m ready for step 4?
I’ve tried all combos with no success
Does anybody know whow to get this beast into test mode??

Since posting my original ANSWER I have also found out that if you use compressed air to blow out the machine there can also be a large reduction is noise if you were getting gear noise. I have found this lasts for about 2 months and then you have to repeat. This reduced noise considerably when I was getting a "gear" sound. Good luck.
