Is there anyway to fix my iPhone?

So for about a month ago my iPhone stopped connecting to my service provider. It sits at no service and goes back and forth between searching. I bought a new SIM card and tried all the tricks I could find on the internet but they didn't work. Everything else on the phone is fully functional, so I was just wondering could it be fixed? I was told by the last tech I spoke with it was the antenna inside the phone that was broken. Is it possible for that to be replaced or do I just need to buy a whole new phone?

EDIT: read my answer, then read my below comment updated July 28.

If a new or known good housing does not solve the issue, you have a failure on the logic board of your iPhone.

Many good - no wait excellent techs - have tried to fix it and in 90% of cases the issue returns.

Due to this very low success rate vs. a high cost of repair because it is really a pain to work on this aspect of the phone, I highly advise you to use it as an iPod, sell it for parts or as an iPod, but don't bother fixing it and don't let any over-zealous tech convince you to fix it.

You might very well end up paying for it and have it fail again in 1 to 8 weeks max. Usually within the first week.

Personally I don't offer this repair because of all the above.

Lately we have been experimenting with new approaches, and they seem to work so far. The latest one I repaired has been out there for 40 days and still running strong. Some of my fellow techs had them out there for like 60 days and still ok. So we may be able to offer a solution for no service phones now, depending on the initial cause though. It is a solution for most but not all failures that lead to this searching issue.
