When you open the bottom, you will see a small silver circle. Remove it and leave it out for 20 or 30 minutes and then put it back. Make sure the laptop isnt plugged in and the battery is also unplugged for this process.
After that time, put the silver battery back, plug the main battery back in and then try. If it doesnt work, try again and make sure everything is unplugged.

@cam2363, if this is a modern laptop, that may not work any longer.
Well, its still worth a shot. The bios password isnt really secure. Its worth a shot, if not then we will search for other options.
I just wanted to confirm this tried and true method does not work on this model, at least specifically on a V5-122p, left battery out for 24 hours. No CLR CMOS jumpers that are clearly indicated either, plenty of contact pads to short for the adventurous though. Hint: JOKING, DON'T start shorting contact points on your mainboard, unless you wish death upon it.
Bummer about the easy clearing methods though, if ours wasn't stuck in UEFI, we could have run a BIOS flash or password cleaner in DOS.

bios pasword acer aspire v5 431 series

O do need to reset it but it won’t let me in at all , so what I need is to get to a blank and set it from cero , is that posible ?
