My phone won't start

Hi I'm new on this forum. My m9 suddenly went off and rebooted while battery was on charge. I tried turning it off and restarting, but it would just display the htc logo and restart severally till battery runs down. I cannot access the flush mode screen. The only screen i can access is the recovery option screen with the white background. Any help with fixing my phone please. Thanks
