ear piece speaker needs cleaning[?]. is it possible, with the phone off, battery disconnected and display removed, to ultrasonic clean the chassis and everything in situ?”

i read through the replacement repair before asking. thanks for your reply. the phone is in not a very clean state, could that be the problem with the low volume, or is it [always] a replacement situation?
