Need to connect Apple's SSD from MPB 15" 2012 retina to another laptop as an external drive. A few hours of browsing, but still no info, if m.2 to usb or msata to usb adapters will work for me. Advise please.

Anything I can buy not from ebay but from electronics store?
is it mSATA 52 pin or something else?
Apple uses a custom mechanical interface which is not the same as the M.2 products you'll find out there.
These won't be sold at a brick and mortar electronic store, since they are not supported by Apple
