You can order "original" ones from China (refurbished with original LCD and copy glass usually) or copies (copy glass and LCD). Ones from eBay are usually junk and copies. When we used to do iPhone screen repairs, the quality of parts were pretty bad most of the time so we started doing refurbishment, and the quality was definitely a lot better once we ironed out the initial issues.
Best way is to find a good company who will refurbish any cracked screens you send them, with an original bezel and glass (so you have an original LCD as well). You can also buy excess from these companies usually. You can look into refurbishing yourself, but it probably isn't worth it now due to the screens dropping in price, and machinery is expensive (last year would have been the best time to start, since the price rose for screens).
Can't vouch for iFixit (haven't used them), but it's worth a shot. Otherwise I would find a good quality honest refurbisher, who doesn't say the working LCDs you send them are non-working or copies :)
