Can my pc startup without PRAM?
While removing the mobo i broke the Pram connector and my macbook don't want to start up any more, Is the Pram the problem or did something else broke too?
Jorre Verheyen, In many trouble shooting forums I often see the saying to reset the Pram etc. to get the computer to boot up, so I would assume Pram must work and connector will have to be repaired/replaced if possible.
See links below to learn about PRAM (Parameter Random Access Memory) Good luck.
I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
If I understand things correctly here you broke the PRAM battery connector so the system can't hold its PRAM settings as the battery that sustains it is not connected PRAM battery and its connector.
Basically, once you shut your system down the settings get lost. Its been awhile since I've worked on this series so I don't remember if the system will startup cleanly or not.
See if you can post a picture as clear as this one I posted so we can see how badly its damaged. Maybe we can help you connect it back somehow.
