Is there hope for a phone that went through a washing machine?

My jitterbug was left in pants pocket and went through the wash cycle and even though we dried it out and put it in rice for a day it still does not work. Is there any hope h

for the phone to work again if the battery is replaced?

Hi,

Rice is good to eat but does nothing to fix the problems caused by a mix of liquids and electronics.

First remove the battery from the device, then follow this guide about how to clean the device and hopefully get it working again.
