Trying to replace a torn home button extension flex cable on an iphone 6s and can not find any online after extensive searching, short of just buying the digitizer replacement which obviously comes with one. Any ideas where I can find one? I can only find them for the 6s plus and the 6. I am capable of replacing the cable myself as I was the one who tore the cable while replacing the rear facing camera. Thank you for the help.

It's built into the 3D-Touch sensor/backlight panel. You have to replace them all, there is no "just home button" extension cable to begin with.

This part cannot be installed in the 6s your saying? The picture of the link above is a replacement home button extension cable I purchased which was incorrect as it turned out to be for the iphone 6, not the 6s.
Right. You have to replace the entire backlight panel.
Great thanks for the help. More research and I see what you are talking about. I have the ability to buy just the backlight panel with the logic board flex cable built in to it. If I do so and install it with the original home button will I still have access to Touch ID so long as I don't try to update IOS, in turn getting error 53? Thanks again for the knowledgable responses.
Error 53? Are you talking about replacement home buttons bricking iphones? That is a thing of the past and does not occur anymore on updated iOS firmware.
I also have been looking 6s extension cable but i couldn't make it. So I ordered assembly today about $20. I will tear it and put that cable from that out. Can not believe nobody sells that parts all around online market.

I successfully replaced my iPhone 6 screen digitizer but the one I ordered did not have the extension ribbon for the home button & im pretty sure I cut it to allow the back plate and the screen to become separate so how do I replace that?

It use to come attached to the LCD shield which is what there for the 6, 6+
