Question could use more detail on the kind of noise. Are the fans just spinning at full speed all the time, or is it something else?

I've had this problem on some of the machines with liquid heat sinks. I found it when I went to change the thermal paste. There was a slightly oily residue on the logic board and I figured out the heat sink had leaked and was not doing the job anymore. Replaced them and the paste, cleaned the fan vents. Have you checked for dust? Dust buildup outside the fans can also block airflow. I just replaced my fans because they were constantly spinning at top speed and not cooling, and while the fans themselves were dusty, I found far more dust in a thick layer just behind the fans.

It's also possible there's something else blocking the airflow. The less obstruction to the airflow, the more efficient the cooling, and the less your fans have to spin.
