Why is my phone not detecting the SIM card?
Whenever I try to make a call or send a text message, my phone says "No SIM card is detected", but the SIM card is installed. Why?

This might be a problem with the SIM card itself. In order to fix this problem, the SIM card will have to be replaced. If replacing the SIM card is still not working, then it is most likely the problem is within the motherboard. In this case, the motherboard will have to be replaced. If it's not the sim card, try resetting your phone to factory reset before spending time and money on motherboard repair or replacement. Could have saved me a lot of money and time if anyone told me.
My Sims card want work
My BLU phone has two sim card ports. The sim card wasn't working in the top one. I turned over the sim card (gold part now facing up) and put it in the bottom tray( you have to slide out the metal pull thing) place it in the tray and slide it back in. After hours with PureTalk tech support, I figured it out myself.
It's actually pretty easy to fix and you don't need to buy anything.
I opened up my girlfriends; took the battery out, then the sim card out and put them right back in.
How to take the battery out, look closely to the screen and backing. Look for a little (dip or notch) pull the phone apart literally and it'll open. Look it up on "YouTube.com" I hope that helps!
It now works right after. Remember to then turn you phone on.
You could also turn off your phone and turn it back on and see if it works.

i'm trying to make a call and it says turn sim on and when i do it doesn't do anything
