LCD screen problem and question mark
my macbook pro screen has stripes and question mark.. what likely to be the problem.. please help?

question mark - cant read OS X, bad instalation, HDD problem or HDD cable problem
stripes - LCD cable, LCD or graphic card (reballing) - try to connect to external LCD

thanks for the answer.. i am gonna try to replace the hdd, then connect to an external LCD... is there any possibility mac can read windows hdd ? so I can make sure the problem is the hdd or the cable...
You need to format it.

To fix the question mark replace the hard drive. If that doesn't work it is probably the SATA cable which is connected to the hard drive that's the problem. Had the same problem myself. Couldn't figure out what the problem was untill I actually tried to replace the cable.

thanks for the answer.. I hope it's only the SATA cable... can windows or linux read the mac harddrive..?
I don't think so. You will have to format your harddrive and install windows. You can drop by your local hardware store and and them to chech your harddrive. If it's nothing wrong with it, change the SATA cable.
