LG 39LN5300 Has power but no backlight.
I'm helping a friend troubleshoot his TV. Is anyone familiar with this model? I'll upload pics of the boards once he gets them to me.

Johnny, obviously you have a bad LED backlight. It is possible that it is the or the power board. Could be as simple as a couple of bad caps, fuses etc to the LED strips in your LCD Until you have the TV and can take a look at the components on the board as well as doing some basic measuring, there is no way to determine anything.
