Everytime I open it," Unable to connect to camera,Camera has been disabled because of security policies or is being used by other apps" I tried fully reseting the phone but it still won't work. Thanx in advance.

hold the power key and wait for 1 min than let the power key go . now try updating the phone software to fix if it is a bug . close all background programs and for more please follow Guide -Fix Phone Camera Step By Step and i hope this will help you to fix the camera .

So what IM trying to do is fix HSR not supported. So I have a ZTE and it's powered by MetroPCS. And it started a few days ago I tried what they suggested and it didn't work. MY FLIPPING PHONE!!
at the first try the camera is working without updating the phone software

1. Shut off phone
2. Hold down the volume up button and power button at the same time.. white screen will appear, release power button, then secondary darker screen will appear.
3. Select reboot system.
4. Take your damm selfies or whatever you do.

I was having problem with my camera and flashlight today, and what I did went to settings, apps, click on camera, Clear data, Clear Cache, force stop, click disable , then click enable and restarted my phone and camera and flashlight worked again.

You have to got to settings. Then apps. All apps. Camera. Clear data.. no it won't erase your pictures... force stop. Disable. Then restart phone. Then enable camera. And it works. Tried everything else this is the only way I could get it to work. Went through manufacturer and phone provider and they couldn't do nothing or tell me why it happened to two different phone's the same exact day.... best of luck.

are there any other ways to get camera working other than the options previously discussed. I've tried everything and came across your post just knowing that this would fix my problem but it didn't... Please help if you any other suggestions...I've also replaced my SIM and SD card and rebooted, full reset, and disabled the camera and still it doesn't work..

Factory reset has resolved this issue, backup all your photos videos and contacts before reset.

It is easier than you think(sorry for my English)...you don't need fabric restoration. Probably wen you insert the SD card you set up your camera with it so wen it get filled the error appears . So follow the next steep and you going to get your camera back.
1. Turn off your phone
2. Remove your SD card (use the key that comes whit the phone if apply)
3. Turn on your phone
Open your camera that's it
This is an extra step
4. Insert the SD car (make sure it's clean I mean, you've been removed all pictures and videos and placed on your computer or whatever. Or put a new one)
I did it whit my ZTE ZMAX and works

Thank you FreddyR!!!! I did this and it actually worked!! too bad I factory reset my phone before doing this. Although I don't have a SD card on it. I did it with my sim card, and it definitely worked! :) Thank you once again!
This worked!!!!! I tried everything else people suggested & nothing worked! I did not have to actually take out my SD card though ... All I did was erase everything on my SD card... Unmount the SD card to safely remove... Then power off my phone(but did not remove SD card) then did the factory reboot(press the power button & volume up at the same time, a white screen pops up then unpress the power button & a black screen will pop up u will be already highlighted on "factory reboot if u keep pressed on the volume up key then press power button to select reboot)!!!!then turned my phone back on & my camera was working!!! & all my pics were still there so was all my Apps & settings!!!

This was the only thing that worked...now im going to wipe it clean so i can put it back in my phone...unfortunately i make lots of videos so i need my SD card...fingers crossed!

My friend fixed it for me all though he never told me how he did it exactly he did mention he was fiddling in the settings and enabled my camera. Thats all i know good luck!

How about on ZTE grand memo lite. Will it work? Same problems.
My front camera is showing a purple and green glare on the front screen the back camera shows great

Follow these instructions. I just did this to my wife's and hers works like normal now.
1. Open settings
2. Open apps (under device section)
3. Swipe 3 times from right to left (will say disabled at top)
4. Select camera
5. Tap on enable
6. Hold camera on apps screen and place on your main screen page if you desire.

All you have to do is remove your Sim chip turn your phone off place the sims card back in and turn your phone back on and your camera will work again.

Just remove your Sims chip turn off your phone and put it back in and turn on your phone and it will work.
Wes was right. Settings > Camera > All > Clear data. Fixed.
Open apps in settings look for camera hit force stop clear data immediately restart phone and you're good

I tried to reboot and it didn't work. Then one comment said clear cache so I longer pressed the camera and slid the icon into the app info then I cleared the cache and the data. Then rebooted my phone just like it said on here and it works now! No lie! Thank you everyone!

"Rebooting" it worked perfectly.....(no factory reset). Turn off the phone, hold the volume up and on/off button together u til u get that black screen, 1st line asks if you want to "reboot" to choose it use the on/off button as (yes,enter)

And be sure phone is charged above 20%!
With your phone on , press and hold volume down, the back button,and power button for 35 seconds. The phone will go into shut down. Wait for 5 seconds. Press and and hold power to restart. This should resolve camera and led flashlight problems.

Nope I tried this and it didn't work I don't think I'm ever getting my camera back
OH Boy.....I did all the above and all the above in many forums..got Samsung troubleshoot over a chat factory reset 3 times...safe mode...tried all the cashe deletes data deletes ect...so the only thing that I could figure out was under settings...security....clear all certificates was greyed out so I could not do that...then under security ..trusted credentials..display all certificates I find about 100 certificates and have to disable each one...then I did the hold volumn button with power button together and get the black screen to restart the phone...after 2 weeks and hours of frustration I felt like I had my first baby..cause my camera and my flash was WORKING! Oh joy and bliss

All you have to do is charge your cellphone over 50% or till full, on ZTE cellphone it has an internal command that automatically disables the flash until it's at or near full power. Mine was at 12% when I was unable to use the flash. When battery was charge at 50% it started working again. Keep in mind that flashlight apps can still light the flash because they operate I dependently from the phone.

Hold the volume button and the power button at the same time for few seconds.Spreadtrum factory test will display. press "vol. down" key select PCBA sinle test and press "vol.up". Now select "front camera" then press "vol.up". your front camera will work. Now select "Back camera" then press "vol.up". your flash light only work and not the back camera. Everything has been tested. CELKON fools have not come forward. There is general problem with the software corrupted throughout the world of CELKON. But they have not solved. CELKON camera NOT WORKING AFTER DOING ALL with SD without SD. Close CELKON. That is better.

All I had to do was take out my SD card. And it started working. I replaced the SD card. And everything still works. So far anyway. Thanks guys.

Go to settings
Change SD from internal to portable
SD card starts formatting
After done, your camera is working!
(**Plese back up your SD files first)
press the camera icon for several seconds. then choose"take photos". it works.

Problem started for me this morning. I have tried force close and deleting and have done full phone reset.

Spoke with tech support was adviser hard factory rest.
1. Power off.
2. Remove SD.
3. Hold power and volume up key at same time.
4. Use volume key to toggle options. Power for selecting.
5. Select "Wipe data factory reset"
6. Select "Yes or confirm"

It does work, but u don't necessarily need to wipe data/factory reset as u risk the possibility of losing any data not saved onto your sd card. Simply select reboot system. Your phone will restart on it's own and your camera should be working again.
