Not spinning clothes as well as it was
Kenmore Elite HE3 washer front load spin cycle seems to be spinning and no water is left in the drum but the clothes are not spun as well as normal

Inspect the drive belt to determine if it is broken or if it is loose on the pulleys. If the drive belt is broken or loose, replace it.

I unplugged it, waited a few hours and plugged it back in. This solved the problem, but only for a week or so. I do wash everyday, so i read somewhere that the filter/ drain trap may be clogged. I opened the front cover and cleaned it out. There wasen't alot of stuff in it at all, so i didnt think this would help, but it did. I just did it, so we will see how long that lasts....
I will keep you updated.

I have this problem, too. No noise or anything unusual. I have to "drain and spin" after each cycle, which makes them get dryer but not nearly as dry as they used to get. They used to be practically totally dry.
I had sears send out a tech who said everything looks fine. Maybe replacing the bearings might help ($800), but not guaranteed. Then he gave me a coupon for discount on new washer. So frustrating. I used to adore this washer.
He also said don't get LG or Samsung, because Sears are whirlpool. But when researching new sears machines, guess what? They're now made by LG. Beyond frustrating.
And consumer reports no longer gives absolute rate of repair. They used to rate Sears the best after Miele ($4,000).
Does anyone have an answer? Everthing else about the machine and the dryer are fine.
