How do I know where my iPhone 6 made?
I'm told by looking at the 7th and 8th number on the 15 digit serie # on the IPhone to know where it made. Mine is 60 ?

I can help you with "made for" instead of "made in" as I think it is more relevant.
Go for example to this website and input your imei number to know where the iPhone was first purchased.

Randy is right. It's IMEI number. Quick check out this number by *#06# on your phone. It's 15 digits. Tx.

I can assure you no iPhones are "assembled" in Germany, Finland, etc.
luc, the IMEI method only works for Nokia phones. For iPhones, the majority are assembled in China, Mostly in Guangdong and Henan, some in Shanghai. The rest are made in Brazil.
