Hi there I just ordered a new cooling fan and after installation it only spins at 100% speed which is kinda annoying, especially because its a blower style fan and makes alot of noise. Just wondering if there is something i could have done wrong or if the fan itself could be the issue

Missing a wire/pin, or not plugged in all the way. Probably borked fan.
Why did you replace it to begin with?
Does the laptop run slow? It could be a sensor issue.

It is a borked fan. I replaced it because the stock one was on it last leg when it spun up it would make bearing noise plus I have been kinda fixing it up alitle, pulled it apart cleaned it, reapplied thermal paste, new RAM, and went to SSD. But I did all that before I ordered the fan and everything was working like it should. And I have not experienced any slow down, and the app I downloaded to read cpu temps it reading 40-41c which is where it was before but fan speed reads 0rpm.
