Why is my tab not charging with black screen

guys please help! when I turned on my tab it hang in "SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 7.0" and so i restart it again by holding the power button 10 seconds and it keeps oin restarting it wont turn off. because it's still hang I hold the power button and the volume down for 10 seconds and then I was glad because it finally turned off. but when I push the power button again it won't turn on and when I charge it, it won't show any signs of charging it's just have a black screen. I'm going crazy please help.

Hi,

Check your charger and cable first. Don't try to charge it with from the laptop's USB.

Do you have a reaction from the tablet when you try to enter the Android recovery menu (Volume UP + Power button), or Download mode (Volume Down + Power ON)? If not, try to connect it to the PC. If the Windows can't see connected device, then you have a hardware problem and you need a help from a specialist.

Press power and volume buttons all together and hold for 15 seconds.

I've barely used my tablet and charged it up fairly regularly. The last charge was with a Powerbank - to test that the powerbank was working; I didn't fully charge it, just tested it for 30 minutes. After that, when I next tried to charge the tab with the normal leads, I got a message to say that the battery was overheating, so I stopped. I charged it but anytime I turned it on the battery drained really quickly.

I tried charging it today and the screen has gone black. Just tried the above .. the screen flashed on briefly after plugging it in to my laptop and pressing Android Recovery mode but actually never came on.

should I just take it to a 'specialist'
