hello, I've been repairing and realized that this socket is not being used, I wonder if anyone has any idea of what can be connected, or what its function

Carlos Augusto, that is reference designator J5100. It is used as LPC+SPI Debug Connector. Definition for those are Low pin count(LPC) Serial peripheral interface(SPI). Looks like an Apple way to debug the logic board. Hope this helps, good luck.

It can be used to access the SPI bus to (re)program the EFI ROM. The pinout of this connector does seem to vary quite a bit between models.

It may be a socket that Apple had there for other purposes that never got used. There are similar sockets on the MacBook Pro's (2006-2008) logic board. Whatever it is, you are not missing something on the board. I am still not sure what the function has been for these sockets, maybe logic board testing, but maybe someone with more knowledge on the chip level of these boards can tell us.
