Replaced digitizer, now home button doesnt work
I replaced the digitizer, I turned on the ipad to make it work before i put the adhesive strips down, and now the home button doesnt work. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Look for a pin broken off under the home button contacts it is part of the dock connector and is easily changed. It is a 5 dollar part. If that does not seem to be the case make sure the contacts are cleaned with alcohol and make sure the screen is all the way down tight.

I fixed problem by making sure i cleaned all glass fragments and old adhesive then pressed firmly down on the bottom part of the screen. Apparently there was just enough left on it to keep it from making good contact. THANKS
