I noticed some of the keyboard switches kept sticking and had lost their 'clicky' sound. After inspecting the keyboard switches, I found this was due to debris and grease accumulation over time.
This teardown tutorial is my attempt to clean up the switches thereby resolving the sticky switches issue.

There are 18 JIS-1 screws in-between key switches. Remove all screws (see red circles). Be extremely careful if using a Phillips-1 instead of a JIS-1 as Phillips screwdrivers can destroy JIS screws.
-
-
-
Under the six rubber pads are eight JIS-1 screws that need to be removed. The edges of the pads can be lifted to access the screws without having to remove the entire pad. Using a small flat-blade screw driver can help with lifting the corner(s).

-
Gently pry the black cover up away from the main body. Be careful not to damage the wires.
-
I apparently forgot to take pictures of this step.

Nine JIS-1 screws secure the back LED logic board. Remove all of them.
-
The back LED logic board is connected to the main PCB by a cable. Carefully disconnect the cable.
-
-
-
The transparent plastic gasket is tightly locked to the main frame via small plastic tabs all around the outside edge. Use the jimmy tool to carefully remove the panel.
-
-
-
There are three tiny JIS-000 screws that keep the main frame and the printed circuit board together. Remove the red circled screws before you separate them.
I forgot this step and the screws fell off.
The 2 that are together fix the media buttons, so watch out.

-
There are two cables connected to the PCB. Carefully separate the main frame and the PCB, then disconnect the lower cable first.
-
With the lower cable disconnected, the PCB can be flipped upright so as to easily remove the upper cable.
When removing these two cables, be careful and do not pull the cables themselves, but instead grab on to the plastic part (as you always should, anyway) because they slip out of the plastic connector very easily and it’s painful to get them back into their place

Now the logic board is revealed and can be cleaned up.
The board have some screws, I thought that removing them the board will be separated from the top case, but wasn't the case.
How can I separate those? I want to try some painting and ?m not confident enough to just cover the holes.

are the actual keys soldiered to the board or they are hot replaceable?
The switches have no electrical contacts, they are only mechanical components. The LED and photodiode that read each switch are soldered to the main PC board. So to answer your question: no, the switches are not soldered to the PCB.
Does anyone know what kind of LED's are being used on this keyboard? The green on one of the LED's has burned out and I would like to replace it.
Anyone know if the rotary dial can be replaced? Mine does not act properly and turning it in one direction causes changes in value that are both inconsistent in value and direction. Very weird.
Just use some WD40 on it, I did it, had the same problem and it fixed it.
Try to not use WD40 on PCB, use some teflon based lube.
Use CC cleaner
Sounds like you got dust/dirt on the wheel of the optical encoder or on its optosensor. I would try first to blow clean compressed air into the rotary encoder (first you must disassemble the keyboard as described in the article, then you can access the encoder from its rear). Any fluid, oil, gunk or lubricant is likely to kill the encoder.
My keyboard sometimes writes certain keys by it self, and when I start my computer it doesn’t work, so I need to disconnect it then restart the pc and reconnect it and wait for it to connect to the Razer synapse only then it work. Any way I can somehow fix it?
Does anyone know how to fix a broken key. Like the key is litearlly jammed and it won't comeback into its original position.
One KEy 'e' has stopped working. Razer said its hardware issue. I want to swap that key with another. How can i do it DIY? Any video or article?
When I hold down a key such as W to walk forward or shift to sprint my keyboard acts as though I am spam clicking that key or not clicking it at all. I’m not sure why this is happening or even what to search to find a solution if anyone has had this problem and knows a fix please let me know.
don't know a fix but have ths problem wiiiith my "u" , "iiii" , "7777777777" , "," , ";;;;" keys. found this problem after sprayng my keyboad wth dettol.
