We used a plastic opening tool to pry the MicroSDHC and SIM card slots off the EMI shield.
The Surround has two Nexus One-esque motherboards that are attached with a large ribbon cable spanning the gap between them.
This is not much of a surprise, as HTC is the manufacturer of both the Nexus One and the Surround.
