Remove the microphone assembly

  • There's a large glob of adhesive on the right side of the microphone; you may need to apply heat multiple times to loosen it.

  • Insert a halberd spudger between the frame and the right side of the microphone.

  • Slide the spudger while prying up to separate the adhesive.
